Jillian Noel Shennessy was born on 25th November 1968 in Canada, is a Canadian performer and actress who has been honored for her outstanding contribution to American television. The actress has made well-known due to her portrayals as Claire Kincaid in Law & Order as well as Crossing Jordan. Her acting talents were on display in the films RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as and Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. Through these independently produced film, she exercised co-directing skills and her writing abilities. Hennessy's acting career began in 1988, when she and her sister played twin characters in Dead Ringers. The actress briefly appeared in Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story in Broadway in 1990. Then, in 1993 she stepped out of the world of musicals, and into the sci-fi genre as Dr. Marie Lazarus. Her big break came later that year when she was a part of the cast of the hit NBC crime drama Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid.
