Keerthy Suresh
Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress who appears predominantly in Tamil and Telugu films, in addition to a few Malayalam films. She won the National Film Award for Best Actress as the actor Savitri in her role in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). Other awards she has won include the three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar is the daughter of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar, and actress Menaka G. Suresh. In the early 2000s, she started her career as an actor. After completing her studies in fashion design, she went back to film. Her first main role as a lead in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy has signed her first Tamil projects in the year 2015, and began accepting projects out of Malayalam. It it was A. L. Vijay, alongside Vikram the director, that released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. It didn't go quite well, however it was released. Due to her busy schedule in 2015, she was forced to pull herself out of projects on which she already began making appearances, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In the following years, she was working on Rajini Murugan's Remo and Remo in two film. Additionally, Dhanush and she played leading roles for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The film's release was postponed in 2015 and now is expected to be after September 2020. The film will be released under an entirely different name, Janakitho Nenu. In 2016, Nenu Sailaja which starred Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy starred in Bairavaa written by Bharathan and featuring actor Vijay. She also appeared as a character in Tamil film Paambhu Sattai and Telugu film Nenu Local in 2017.
